Standards

Built in the early 1920s, Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit (BMT) Car #2775 is seen recently after arriving to the museum. These cars were commonly referred to as "Standards." Here, it is seen in a two-car train with Independent Subway (IND) R9 #1689 at the Farm River Road station building on the museum's property. Since there is only overhead trolley wire at the museum, these subway cars have been fitted with trolley poles for operation.
